DESCRIPTION:
The Tennessee pattern is a new design by Edyta Sitar from Laundry Basket Quilts. It was the 2025 September Mystery pattern. It features a central medallion and is surrounded with rows of geometrics design triangles, zigzag, stars and stepping stones, houses, an Edyta signature bloce.. Each row is hand custom quilted to make the designs look great.
This quilt is perfect for a special birthday or wedding or anniversary or a Just Because gift.
Rainbow quilt features a Gold and green star medallion with Red, blue, green and gold fabrics in the grometris rows The background fabrics are cream tone on tone fabrics The backing,outer border and are cream with light green binding .
CONSTRUCTION:
The fabrics in this patchwork quilt are all 100% cotton and machine pieced for a long-lasting quilt. The batting is 100% cotton , perfect for our Australian climate. I finished the quilt with a double layered binding, machine stitched to the front and backing fabric, for added strength and durability. The quilting design is finished in my home studio with a longarm quilting machine using free motion quilting. I take great care with every quilt to create a patchwork quilt that will suit your needs and last for many years.
CARE INSTRUCTIONS:
All my patchwork quilts and other items are made to be used and loved. They are made to be durable and can be machine washed in cold or warm water and tumble dried on a low setting. As they are washed, they will become softer and cosier. If you hang them outside, it is best to hang them in the shade rather than the full sun (or hang them upside down to avoid the beautiful colours fading and bring them inside as soon as they are dry).
All quilts are made in my smoke-free home studio in Brisbane, Australia.
