DESCRIPTION:
This quilt is a modern style patchwork look. The colourful fabrics create a beautiful quilt that is cheerful and would brighten any room. The fabrics includeTeal, Lilac, Blue Green and white plains, florals and tone-on-tone designs. The backing fabric is a lilac tone-on tone fabric, the binding is purple. The quilt has custom hand quilting to complete it.
A great gift for a birthday, Great for an elderly relative too and better still treat yourself to a cosy quilt to wrap up in and read a book.
CONSTRUCTION:
The fabrics in this patchwork quilt is all 100% cotton and machine pieced for a long-lasting quilt.
The batting between the layers is 100% cotton, perfect for our Australian climate. I finished the quilt with a double folded binding, machine stitched to the front and back, for a neat finish that is strong and durable. The quilting design is finished by me, in my home studio, with
a long-arm quilting machine, custom quilting over the whole quilt.. I love making quilts and take great care with every part of the process from the quilt design, fabric colour selection and sewing, to create a patchwork quilt that will last for many years to come and hopefully be treasured by the owner.
CARE INSTRUCTIONS:
All my patchwork quilts and napery are made to be used and loved. They are durable and can be
machine washed in cold or warm water with a gentle washing powder, tumble dried on a low
setting, or line dried. As they are washed, they will become softer and cosier, getting more snugglywith age.
