Approx. 110cm x 135cm, recommended for a cot blanket or baby playmat.
DESCRIPTION:
Beautiful patchwork quilt for a baby featuring Australian Kangaroo with Joey on a light blue grey with co-ordinating fabrics of gold and light grey all flannelette fabric. The cute animals are great for baby’s eye development when they’re having tummy time. The binding fabric is a pastel blue colour the same as the backing fabric .
Ideal for a baby shower present or new baby gift.
CONSTRUCTION:
The fabrics in this patchwork quilt are all 100% cotton and machine pieced for a long-lasting quilt. The batting is 100% cotton flannelette, perfect for our Australian climate. I finished the quilt with a double layered binding, machine stitched to the front and backing fabric, for added strength and durability. The quilting design is finished in my home studio with a long-arm quilting machine. The quilt is stitched in the ditches and a starry design in the centre of the squares. I take great care with every quilt to create a patchwork quilt that will suit your needs and last for many years.
CARE INSTRUCTIONS:
All my patchwork quilts and other items are made to be used and loved. They are made to be durable and can be machine washed in cold or warm water and tumble dried on a low setting. As they are washed, they will become softer and cosier. If you hang them outside, it is best to hang them in the shade rather than the full sun (or hang them upside down to avoid the beautiful colours fading and bring them inside as soon as they are dry).
