DESCRIPTION:
Autum Wonder quilt features beautiful patchwork leaves in golds, greens and burgandies. Each leaf is individual just like in nature. The leaves are separated with fresh green sashing. All the borders are pieced with dark green , medium green and white small squares. The binding is dark green. This quilt blends traditional piecing with a modern fresh look. The leaves are set on an off white fabric. The backing fabric is a tone-on tone gold and yellow and bound with a dark green fabric.
A welcome addition to any bed to bring colour and freshness into the room.
A great gift for an engagement, wedding, anniversary present, housewarming gift or significant
birthday.
CONSTRUCTION:
The fabrics in this patchwork quilt are all 100% cotton and machine pieced for a long-lasting quilt.
The batting between the layers is 100% cotton, perfect for our Australian climate. I finished the quilt with a double folded binding, machine stitched to the front and back, for a neat finish that is strong and durable. The quilting design is finished by me, in my home studio, with
a long-arm quilting machine, custom quilting over the whole quilt and outer border. I love making quilts and take great care with every part of the process from the quilt design, fabric colour selection and sewing, to create a patchwork quilt that will last for many years to come and hopefully be treasured by the owner.
CARE INSTRUCTIONS:
All my patchwork quilts and napery are made to be used and loved. They are durable and can be
machine washed in cold or warm water with a gentle washing powder, tumble dried on a low
setting, or line dried. As they are washed, they will become softer and cosier, getting more snugglywith age.
