DESCRIPTION:
The quilt is a modern geometric design. The earthy brown and beige colours create a stunning affect with scattered stars. The backing is brown and sepia flannelette. The binding is the feature border fabric, also in the stars. I love making quilts and take great care with every part of the process from the quilt design, fabric colour selection and sewing, to create a patchwork quilt that will last for many years to come and hopefully be treasured by the owner.
CARE INSTRUCTIONS:
All my patchwork quilts and other items are made to be used and loved. They are made to be durable and can be machine washed in cold or lukewarm water with a gentle washing powder, and tumble dried on a low setting. As they are washed, they will become softer and cosier. If you hang them outside, it is best to hang them in the shade rather than the full sun (or hang them upside down to avoid the beautiful colours fading and bring them inside as soon as they are dry).
